Good Morning St. Michael’s Parish,
As you may recall, we posted the advertisement for our new rector on January 9. We shared our open position along with a job description on the Episcopal News Service and the Transition Ministry Conference; both are sites that clergy are likely to see if they are seeking a new position. We also placed an ad in the Living Church magazine that appeared in both print and digital editions.
The window for receiving applications is open until February 28. On March 1, the Discernment Committee will begin the process of reviewing applications. By waiting until all applications are received, we assure that all applicants are reviewed together and receive equal consideration. We will send out another update when the application period ends and we start reviewing applications. Please continue to pray for the committee and St. Michaels as we move forward in the rector search process.
