Meet Pooky!
Pooky is a professional church cat, previously having served at The Memorial Church of the Good Shepherd in Parkersburg, West Virginia as Marjorie’s "Pastoral Assistant".
He is originally from an abandoned house across the street from Good Shepherd. During the pandemic Pooky began coming to church.
His greatest gift is his love of people and you will often see him in odd places at St. Michael’s—on bookshelves, in boxes, under lamps. He likes to be wherever people are gathered—at weddings, funerals, regular worship services, and outdoor movies.
He’s a great mouser, so our mouse problem in the pre-school has gone away. He has a great calming influence and is often talkative. He does not like to be startled.
