About St. Michael’s
St. Michael's has been celebrating the faith and practices of the Episcopal Church since 1949. Our services combine the traditional rites of worship with a welcoming, relaxed environment. We have a strong presence in the local community and have worthy outreach programs in our local area, as well as internationally.

Mission Sunday Success!
Mission Sunday was a great success thanks to everyone. You all helped plan, promote, reach out to the organizations we are supporting, connect to parishioners, take care of the details and hospitality, and be present! As I talked to parishioners yesterday, especially newer members, so many were happy to hear of the breadth of efforts we support. There are so many people in need of help, in our community and all around the world, some in danger of being forgotten. Jesus wants us to help even those we do not know, and may never meet, if it is possible. We do this because Jesus loves them and wants them to know Him. This work can change lives. We not only help those in need, but also those who are reaching out to share the Gospel with those who do not yet know Jesus.

Sunday School Is Underway!
Every Sunday 9:00-10:15 AM
How does God’s love move us to create with paint and paper, chalk and crayons? How does God’s love speak to us through song and prayer? Young and not so very young children will use art materials, sing songs accompanied by guitar, and have prayer time in the Children’s Chapel. We will explore books of the Bible throughout the liturgical year using new Spark Story Bibles. Children who are able to read, and early learners,can engage in the lessons. I am looking forward to meeting your children and helping them to grow in their understanding of our faith.

St. Michael’s Fall Fair is Coming Back
Mark your calendars and plan to join us Saturday, October 31st, from 9: AM-1:00 PM. The St. Michael’s Fair is coming back with the White Elephant Sale, Book Sale, Bake Sale, and the famous Mushroom Sandwiches! There will be fun activities for kids and more.

Food Pantry Donation Schedule
This year to help with the Ligonier Valley Food Pantry we will be collecting specific food items each month.
For the month of October we’re collecting Boxed Cookie or Cake Mixes.
Donations can be brought to the church and placed in the basket at the back of the church. Donations for October need to be at the church by Wednesday, October 14th.

Introducing the St. Michael’s Wish List
There have been numerous occasions when people have wanted to support St. Michael’s by giving a gift in memory of someone or in celebration of a special event. A few months ago a member of the Vestry suggested we develop a “Wish List” for such gifts. These are things that are not in our normal operating budget, but which would be helpful for us to have. So, the next time we have such an offer from someone, we will be able to provide this list of options!
