Discernment Committee Update

Thanks to everyone who attended the Christmas Brunch and committee presentations this past Sunday.  For those of you who were unable to attend, here is a quick update on the rector search process. The Profile Committee completed the Parish Profile and it will soon be posted to our website. The Discernment Committee has completed the Community Ministry Profile (CMP) and submitted it to the vestry for approval. When approved, the CMP will be posted to the Office of Transition Ministry website of the Episcopal Church. These are the principal tools that will be shared with potential candidates in our search for a new rector. We are on track to officially post our job opening on January 9th.

In order to make this process as transparent as possible and to provide updates to potential candidates and the St. Michael’s family, we will continue to add content to our webpage so please check back regularly for updates

The completion of the CMP is a major accomplishment and one of the final milestones that will allow us to post our job opening. We ask that you keep the committees and parish in your prayers as we enter the next phase of the search process.
