Kids Sunday School Slushie Kick-Off!

Starting this fall, kids’ Sunday school will be every Sunday at 9:15 AM! We will kick off with our first class on Sunday, September 7th and continue every week for the school year. Our curriculum will cover the most important Bible stories from the Old and New Testaments, plus songs, art projects, snacks, and more. We use Godly Play, a hands-on way of telling these Bible stories with figures and models. Our kickoff on

September 7th at 9:15 will be particularly special because we will also have free slushies for kids! So be sure to bring along or invite any kids you know - your own, grandkids, nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors. Anyone who likes slushies and is loved by God (which means everyone!) is welcome! And adults can enjoy any leftover slushies after the later service, during Punch on the Porch.

Kids of all ages and backgrounds are invited! This kickoff Sunday would be an especially good time to join, but feel free to come anytime, no registration necessary. Please spread the word! For more information, call the church at 724-238-9411 or find us on Facebook or Instagram. And if you’re interested in volunteering, even just once in a while, please reach out, too! We are looking to build the team.

WoodBridge Prechool

Wood Bridge Preschool will welcome nearly 50 students this September as it celebrates 50 years of nurturing, supporting, and teaching young children. The theme for the school year is “Once Upon a Time,” and the teachers have prepared lots of activities, crafts, and decorations centered around some classic Aesop’s Fables and fairy tales.

Some of us at St. Michael’s have been involved with Wood Bridge over the years as parents, board members, volunteers, or maybe even as students, but others may be wondering what happens on the lower level of Smith House most school day mornings.
